We had the opportunity to talk with Steel Panther's Stix Zadinia before their show in Niagara Falls. Steel Panther is currently touring in support of their latest release, "Lower the Bar" with Stone Sour.
Regarding Stix' reaction to the music scene in response to last week's attack at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas:
"I feel as a performer, that it's actually more important now.... to do what we do to help people escape the awfulness of a tragedy like that."
"That's what rock n' roll is about unplugging from your daily grind, whatever that is, and just letting it go and having fun."
Regarding Steel Panther's 80's hair metal influences:
Every album after that (Steel Panther's first album "Feel the Steel") we've gone away....really taken everything and made it our own"
