THE DAMN TRUTH 'NOW OR NOWHERE' OUT FRIDAY (5/7) VIA SPECTRE MUSIQUE/SONY MUSIC
Montreal-based bohemian rock’n’roll outfit THE DAMN TRUTH will release their third album NOW OR NOWHERE this Friday, May 7 via Spectre Musique/SONY Music. The album was recorded with Grammy Award-winning legendary producer Bob Rock (Aerosmith, Tragically Hip, Bon Jovi) at Bryan Adams’ The Warehouse Studio in Vancouver except for three tracks which due to covid restrictions were recorded separately with an A-list team of engineers including Juno Award-winning producer Jeam Massicotte, Grammy Award-winning engineers Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton) and Nick DiDia (Bruce Springsteen) and engineer Mike Plotnikoff (Van Halen, Cranberries). THE DAMN TRUTH was formed by lead vocalist/guitarist Lee-la Baum and lead guitarist/vocalist Tom Shemer who met at a hippie festival near the Sea of Galilee in Israel—both were completely nude--and have been together ever since. The power of their love is a driving force for their 60’s-inspired ethos showcased on Now Or Nowhere. It is a definitive statement about the band, about the times and how everyone navigates life, love and everything else in a world gone seemingly upside down and sideways. NOW OR NOWHERE Track Listing: 1. This Is Who We Are Now (WATCH) 2. Tomorrow 3. Only Love 4. Lonely 5. Everything Fades 6. The Fire 7. Look Innocent 8. Full On You 9.
